About the painting and/or Inspiration:
"The Locket" is the title of my original 18" x 24" mixed media painting. I created this piece using
watercolors and acrylics on a beautiful 3/4" gallery wrapped stretched canvas. I took a lot of time
with the details in this piece and it was very important for me to capture the serene moment. I do
believe this is probably one of my fav. paintings I have created to date. This is my first installment to
the Enchanted Visions Project.... Which is a really neat project created by artists Amy Brown and
Jessica Galbreth. Each month a theme is selected and invited artists create a painting best
representing the theme. I am truly honored to be be able to partake in this project:)
